Everglades Lumber Exchange ("ELX", "we", "us", "our") operates evergladeslumber.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We collect information you voluntarily provide through our forms:
We do not automatically collect cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics beyond standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, time of visit) provided by our hosting platform.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Quote requests and supplier applications are stored in ELX's Cloudflare D1 database and reviewed by ELX. If the Worker is deployed without its D1 binding, the form may use FormSubmit as a fallback. Transactional email is optional; when configured, Resend delivers a receipt to the submitting email address and a reference-only notification to ELX. Material details entered into Lumber Scout or the automated first-pass intake review may be sent without contact email, phone, or contact name to Groq when the AI service is configured. Do not enter personal or confidential details into Lumber Scout.
We retain form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service. You may request deletion of your data by emailing hello@evergladeslumber.com.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Contact us at hello@evergladeslumber.com to make a request.
The Site uses Cloudflare Workers for hosting, Cloudflare D1 for the private lead inbox, and Cloudflare Turnstile to help screen automated form submissions. FormSubmit may be used as a fallback if the D1 database binding is unavailable. Optional transactional notifications use Resend. Turnstile processes security-challenge tokens and necessary browser/network signals to distinguish automated form traffic; its widget does not read form entries. When the server-side AI feature is configured, Lumber Scout and intake triage send the role, ZIP code, project description, material list, timing, or supplier product details to Groq for a first-pass review; contact names, emails, and phone numbers are excluded from AI requests. If AI is unavailable, intake triage uses local keyword rules and Scout uses a local keyword review. AI output is a draft and is never a supplier match, quote, technical determination, or publication approval. Each provider processes information under its own terms; ELX does not control its systems.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be noted by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
